About the Role
Meeting shift production target with required quality norms and safety .
Operate and oversee production using cable manufacturing machinery (Wire Drawing, Stranding, Insulation of LV ,MV,HV Extruders CCV, Drum Twister,Armouring ,Sheathing etc).
Supervise daily manufacturing of electric cables, ensuring quality and efficiency
standards are met along with plant house keeping up to the world class standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on the shop floor to minimize downtime.
Perform advanced troubleshooting on process control of Stranding , Extruders, including CCV line.
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for cable production and marking processes.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards (IS,IEC standards).
Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and stores departments for seamless operations.
Prepare and present shift reports and production data.
Thorough understanding of governing specifications for cable manufacturing and cable testing methodologies.
Essential Handson Product & Processing knowledge: Cables like- LV ,MV,HV,EHV, Mining , Solar DC/AC , FS cables, Metro Railways etc.
Handson experience on the products of Indian customers, overseas (like UL and others) customer.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
BE/B Tech Degree(Full Time) in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Production Engineering.(Part Time BE/B Tech candidates are not preferable)
Minimum 3+ years of experience in Electrical cable manufacturing environment.
In-depth knowledge of cable manufacturing processes and machinery.

Familiarity with quality control procedures and standards.
Flexibility to work in rotating shifts.

Kaizen and improvements.
Computer knowledge on SAP-Hana , Excell, MS Office and Automation (Industry 4.0) Knowledge on Industry 4.0,(iOTs) required.
Specific, demonstrable experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining Continuous Inkjet (CIJ) printers.
Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt is more preferred.
